Cooltra, the leader company in two-wheel mobility in Europe, have won an award APAE Fem Empresa 2018, for its innovative concept of sustainable mobility and contribution to pollution reduction in the environment. Timo Buetefisch, CEO of the company, has recieved the award from commissioner of Enterprise and Innovation of Barcelona City Council, Lluís Gómez, and the Founder and President of the entity APAE, Oscar Tamarit, during the celebration of the IV APAE- Fem Empresa Congress.

Since 2016, the Cooltra Group has made a strong commitment to electric mobility with eCooltra project, electric scooter rental per minutes, and EcoScooting, parcel delivery service within cities using 100% electric vehicles. The energy that eCooltra uses for the scooter battery recharge is 100% clean energy. The vehicles that the swapers use when they change the batteries of the scooter are also 100% electric. The latest brand to join the Cooltra group, EcoScooting, advocates on the same line – a low-pollution for the environment service with last mile eco-delivery concept; or, is to say, parcel delivery in a sustainable way within the cities. The vehicles of EcoScooting, which has leading customers in the fashion sector, distribution and food delivery, are also 100% electric.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Auditorium of the Central Headquarters of Barcelona became the place chosen by APAE (Association of Autonomous Professionals and Companies), in collaboration with Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa, for the celebration of the IV APAE – Fem Empresa Congress. More than 200 multisector companies have participated, different personalities from the Political, Media and Business fields have assisted the event. The “APAE Fem Empresa” is an award given annually to entrepreneurs, companies and institutions, which help to increase the business network with their ideas, actions or experience. Among the winners of last year you can see La Vanguardia, Josep Cuní and Banco Sabadell.
